It still amazes me that one can raise farm animals in one of the dirtiest, scariest, most beautiful cities in the world.

Sometime in the near future, once I get back on a fast internet connection, I will photographically prove that Italians feed pasta to their animals.

I apologize for the glare.

I snapped this shot because the sun was illuminating the weeds at the base of the tree. The men didn't understand why I was lagging behind before going back to have coffee. It is part of our nature to become immune to the magic of our surroundings when we remain in one place for long periods of time.
