« The Grand Sumo Tournament in Los Angeles, part I »

It was by far the coolest sporting event I have ever attended. Even better than curling at the 2006 Olympics in Torino. I have a new respect for Japanese culture.

Here's their website, here's NPR's radio broadcast with really interesting facts, and here are the pictures. We were far away, and they're quite dark (I hate flash). I couldn't resist putting all of these up haha, especially the first two (entitled: Anne and Kathleen Get Pumped").
