« New Project: Orchids »

Orchids are the guests' gift of choice when coming my dad's house for dinner or a bbq. At least once a month a new grocery store plant pops up in the kitchen with a note attached to one of the dragonfly hair clips. Maybe it's a Persian thing? The problem is, though, that they are nice for a few weeks, and then they inevitably die from overwatering, neglect, or a plastic pot with no drainage holes. Sometimes they even disappear before they die.

I have decided that this is going to stop.
No more orchids will die or disappear on my watch!
Unless I can't figure out how to save them.

My mom, a self-taught orchid specialist, recommended that I check out rePotme's supplies and care videos to help me save the current patient. I can't wait to get to work! More to come on this new challenge...
