This is the original problem plant that got seriously overwatered. The blooms fell off within four days, and the bottom leaf yellowed and also fell off. All but three of the roots rotted and disintegrated, leaving nylon-like strings. I repotted it in classic mix and replaced the grocery store killer pot with a clear one that drains. I made one huge mistake, though: instead of pre-soaking the mix and squeezing out the water, I put it in dry and watered it after! It's been drying for two weeks and today I finally felt comfortable that the moss was dry enough to water again. The brown spots haven't gotten any bigger, nevertheless I am waiting for it to die any day now. :(
I have some fertilizer, but as with all of these new plants, I am waiting a month to use it because I don't know what or how often they were being fed before.
